HERMITAGE MOUNTAIN LODGE BORDA CALBÓ
There are places that just imagining them takes your breath away, and Hermitage Mountain Lodge Borda Calbó is a clear example. Inaugurated in early February 2023, this unique, luxurious, and nature-immersed accommodation is located right on the ski slope (Avet de Soldeu) at an altitude of 1,850 meters. The variety of snowy landscapes visible from the windows is spectacular, and the pleasant indoor temperature won't let the cold of the mountains in.
The 400 square meters of alpine design and local materials were well worth the 4 years of construction. On the ground floor of the cabin, we find 4 fully equipped suites, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a sauna, and a jacuzzi with hydro-massage.
Upstairs, there are two relaxation areas equipped with sofas, a smart TV, and a fireplace, as well as an oak wood table designed and handmade to accommodate 18 people. All of this is illuminated with natural light thanks to the design of the high sloping ceilings, huge windows, and open plan layout of the floor.
You will also find a kitchen handcrafted in France, and you can request a Michelin-starred chef to prepare a dish for you, always upon request and with a supplement. This dreamlike place could be said to be the protector of the mountain since Hermitage Mountain Lodge harmonizes completely with nature through its facilities and services.
Continuing with the list of services offered at La Borda, there will be a butler available from seven in the morning until eleven at night, who will take care of cleaning, room service, fireplace and temperature management, administrative procedures (check-in and check-out, management of the ski pass, etc.). They can also make reservations at the famous restaurants at the Sport Hotels Resort & Spa Andorra (Ibaya, Koy Hermitage, Tradició, Glassbar 1850, La Trofana, and Sol i Neu).
For the summer months, La Borda also has a reserved attraction, as it has a spacious terrace where a barbecue, wood-fired oven, and a space to enjoy food have been installed.
With this experience, different independent services from the accommodation are also included. Guests can request a day with a private ski guide, rental of equipment (free of charge), the hotel gym, "kids club" to take care of the little ones, etc. Best of all, the ski lifts at El Tarter are just 200 meters downhill.
For those who love tranquility above all, they will also have free access to the Sport Wellness Mountain Spa, our center for care, relaxation, and well-being, which with its relaxing circuits has 5,000 square meters and views of the snowy mountains.
