The Avet de Soldeu piste has witnessed several European Cup and World Cup Alpine skiing events. With two World Cup finals already held in 2019 and 2023, Grandvalira now aims to host the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2029.
The Stars of Skiing in Grandvalira:

Other top competitors, such as Petra Vlhová, Federica Brignone and Lara Gut-Behrami, will also be in action, promising a spectacle of skill and speed.
The Avet Piste: A Technical Challenge:
The setting for these intense races will be the Avet piste, right in front of the Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa, known for its challenging technical runs and its northeast orientation that guarantees exceptional snow quality. With a vertical drop of 416 metres for the giant slalom and 210 metres for the slalom, the Avet piste has seen major transformations, being the epicentre of the World Cup Finals in 2019.
